Become a Teacher with Any Bachelor's Degree

Pensacola Junior College offers Educator Preparation Institute orientations at its three campuses for people with bachelor’s degrees interested in a teaching career.

Q&A sessions are scheduled for 6 p.m. at all locations:

·         Nov. 16, Pensacola campus, Building 14, room 1442

·         Nov. 17, Warrington campus, Building 3700, room 3734

·         Nov. 18, Milton campus, Building 4900, room 4902

PJC offers the state-approved competency-based Alternative Certification Program for people who already hold bachelor’s degrees in any field.

EPIs provide competency-based instruction for bachelor’s degree-holders that leads to temporary and full teacher certification. The institutes also provide professional development for teachers, training for substitute teachers and paraprofessional instruction.
