| Florida Parenting Course (online) is required by the First Judicial Circuit of Florida and was developed based on the difficulties faced by children whose parents are divorcing or separating. Topics include legal proceedings including post-judgment modification, paternity, dependency, enforcements, and deliquency as well as all families in transition including step, extended, and blended families, and significant others.
Students will learn effective ways to communicate with the other parent and to make decisions that are in the best interest of your child(ren). Topics include the divorce process, states of grief, what children need to hear, typical responses to divorce, what kids need to do to adjust, and how you can help. |
