Designed to implement better driving habits and to deter the irresponsible conditions that lead to alcohol and drug related traffic accidents. Students must bring their driver's license to class in order for course completion information to be processed.

Designed to help licensed drivers function more effectively and efficiently in traffic. Students must bring their citation number and driver's license number to class in order for information to be processed completely. Bring a blue or black ink pen.

 Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course
Course: R 03064  ( 20 hours )
The Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider course is a complete course of instruction for those who wish to develop safe street-riding skills and obtain a motorcycle endorsement. Classroom instruction is combined with motorcycle riding activities on an approved training range. Student will need to successfully complete the skills riding evaluation and the written exam to receive a Rider Course Completion Card. Student handbook, insurance, helmet and motorcycle are provided. Students must provide long sleeve shirt or jacket, full fingered gloves, long pants and sturdy footwear which covers the ankles. Students may bring their own DOT/Snell Foundation approved helmet. Students must be at least 15 years of age and hold a valid Florida learner's permit for 6 months in order to participate in this course. Motorcycles are provided by Southern MotorSports Safety. Cost: $180

 S.T.A.R.T. - First-time Driver Course
Course: R 01345  ( 4 hours )
Designed to instill proper driving habits. First time drivers will become familiar with lawful and courteous driving habits. Based on audiovisual and group discussion. Individuals ages 17 and under are required to take this course in order to receive their learner's permit. Individuals 18 and older are required to complete this course before taking their driver's exam and receiving their driver's license.

Online Course  S.T.A.R.T. - First-time Driver Course - Online
Course: R 04204  ( 4 hours )
Audiovisual and group discussions will familiarize first-time drivers with lawful and courteous driving habits. Individuals ages 17 and under are required to take this course in order to receive their learner's permit. Individuals 18 and older are required to complete this course before taking their driver's exam and receiving their driver's license.
