
Milissa McNulty, RN, a critical care nurse and lead adjunct simulation specialist at the Mary Smart Simulation Center recently attended the one day workshop at the Michael S. Gordon Center for Research in Medical Education at the U. of Miami Miller School of Medicine. The program addressed critical patient assessment and management, emphasizing interactive hands-on training on clinical skills and treatment for nurses and other healthcare providers. Multiple cases of patients with acute heart failure were presented and the latest management reviewed and discussed.
