The Mary Ekdahl Smart Center for Patient Simulation Training & Research at Pensacola Junior College was awarded the Center of Educational Excellence designation

The International Academy offers its first certificate in Simulation Teaching at the Mary Smart Simulation Center.

The Harvard Center for Medical Simulation instructor course is hosted by the Mary Smart Simulation Center.
