Welcome to the Adult Secondary Education Department
The primary purpose of the Secondary Education Department is to provide individuals, sixteen years of age and older, the opportunity to continue their education and earn a traditional high school diploma. Courses offered in this program are similar to those offered in a regular high school program, but the emphasis is placed on the unique needs of the at-risk/adult student. We believe that academic competency is a consequence of good learning skills, learning confidence, and self discipline. Our goal is to assist students in the development of life skills that will enhance their future success.
