How the Program Works
- High school specialists meet with their students individually and/or in small groups, for 15 – 20 minutes, a minimum of 4 times, before the end of the school year.
- The middle school specialist meets students 2 times a month, in 15 – 20 minute sessions.
- All lessons are designed to help students successfully transition from high school to college and focus on:
- Time management
- Goal setting
- Self esteem
- College information and awareness
- Career planning / options
- Study skills
- Test taking strategies
- School specialists meet with high school seniors and assist families and students with the financial aid process for college.
